Step-by-step instructions:

1. Do you believe in love at first sight?
depends on how you define love...is it the "OMG, that is my soulmate" kinda love, of "OMG he's so hot" kinda love? If it's the former, then no. If it's the latter, then of course!!!

2. Your dream wedding?
Clear day, a simple ceremony, a beautiful dress, my family by my side, and the love of my life with me.

3. Which is better, life or death?
I would say life, but when it's your time to die, then...there's no helping it, isn't it?

4. If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be?
I have too many dreams, it's impossible =p

5. Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?
Yes. I'm a believer. So shoot me.

6. What will make you twirl in your room and roll on your bed and break out in scream or laughter?
That all my problems have been solved for me ^^

7. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
Pay back my loan -_-"" then, buy a house for my parents, give some to my sisters, put some in a safety deposit, invest some more, then shopping!!!!! ^^

8. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
Well, if I know for sure that he likes me back, then maybe. But I've always been a firm believer that the guy should make the first move when it comes to confessing feelings.

er.....no.

10. What is the stupidest (serious) thing you have ever done?
Too many lar...

16. What do you like about yourself?
My hair. I had them cut really short once, and I don't care to have that happen again. I feel that they are my best assets ^^

Comics from China

I'm sure all of you know the earthquake which rocked Sichuan Province in China last May.

I got this email from David, and was crying after I read it. It's really amazing how the human race can come together as one unit in times of adversity and overcome obstacles. It's even more amazing when we read about the overwhelming testament of love.

This email originated from Coco Wang, a China born comic strip artist, who is super talented. Here is her letter to all:

~~~
Hello. This is Coco Wang.
As you know the breaking news of 5.12 Earthquake in China, almost all the TV channels in China are broadcasting 24 hours non-stop of every development and stories of all the rescue operations in all damaged locations.
I don't know how much information the BBC or any UK media received from us, I imagine the UK audiences were presented with the major developments of the incident, but you are probably unaware of many important and inside details which are only known to people inside China.
The amount of incredibly moving stories of victims, rescuers, and volunteers is simply shocking at the moment. I have been collecting newspapers of all the stories, and telling them in the form of comic strips. I hope these stories could show the UK readers the love, warmth and courage of the Chinese people, also the sad and cruel reality of the horrible 5.12 Earthquake.
I am back home in Beijing now. Thousands of heart-breaking stories are happening 24 hours non-stop everyday, some are so sad that you can hardly bear, some are incredibly moving that you just can't stop crying... I wanted to go to the front to help with all those people, some of my friends have already gone there, but I heard that the traffic needed to be kept totally clear for rescue transportation at the moment, people like me without knowledge of first-aid and experience of rescue operations going there now would cause choas and trouble... but I can't just sit at home and do nothing, I have been crying my eyes out in the past three days, I have never felt more proud of my country and people... their love, courage and kindness rock me to my core! I have decided to tell these touching stories by drawing comics. I am going to send you comic strips almost everyday from now on, I hope you could know something about the earthquake in China, although you don't have to do anything, but I hope you could feel our love and hope.
Thank you all so much.
Coco Wang
For some more of her comic strips, you can go *here*. She uploads new ones as time goes by, so be sure to check it out. You'll be surprised by the resilience of the Chinese people and I assure you, even the toughest person would not be able to hold back tears..
Free again!!!
Yay! my finals are finally over! hip hip hooray!
BUT......with all the happiness, there comes the time where we need to sit down and make a list of all the things we will need to accomplish before the start of the next semester (which is one and a half months away, and which is a very short time mind you) =p
Btw, will be going to Melbourne in July!! for the International Lasallian Youth Gathering. Will be flying there on the 7th, and coming back on the 16th, just in time for the KL Industrial Trip that the cpaasc is organising for the accounting students. I shall talk more about these two events when I can yea.
After that, will be staying back in KL to spend some quality time with my elder sis...the last time she was back was few months ago and am really looking forward to our pillow talks and late nights..although, she has to sleep early nowadays as her day starts super early..but mine can start super late, so maybe will have to reach a compromise..haha..I'm pretty sure that by the time she's through her third client, I'll JUST be waking up from my deep slumber.. =p
But anyway, back to the topic at hand...to do lists for June and July:
For the month of June:
  1. Beach trip with friends!!!! Yay, going for another day of fun and laughter!! hehe..
  2. Swinburne Information Day
  3. Read up on Food crisis....
  4. exercise... ( I need to look good for Melbourne. A lot of cute guys there bah ^^)
  5. Debate trainings
  6. finish up all sssc treasurer accounts ( so many are lagged behind because of the finals -_-"")
  7. Many many other meetings that will keep my calendar packed for sure.... -_-""
For the month of July:
  1. Melbourne ILYG!
  2. KL Industrial Trip
  3. Serious bonding and parasiting time with my sis in KL (yay!)
  4. Read up on Food crisis...
  5. Meet up with as many friends as possible while still in KL..
  6. MAYBE travel down to Johor with a few buddies to watch the National Band Competition..hehe...a certain cute guy would be there, and I absolutely have to watch him in action..hahahaha....Lovena, don so jian ar!! =p
Hmmm...seems like I have been making a lot of lists lately (most of which are just preliminary), but the obvious would be that even though I will be having my holidays, I will still be super busy.. -_-""
It's a wonder I still get fat even with so many activities to handle and organize and all that running around all the time -_-""
5th Sarawak Regional Lasallian Convention
Last week marked the end of the 5TH Sarawak Regional Lasallian Convention!!!! Success!!! An approximate number of 25 OT's were present to get the event up and running, as well as an additional 3 persons from La Salle Centre, Ipoh.
Would definitely have to thank the people involved in this event, namely Jonathan and Caesar (the co-chairs) who had many sleepless nights, Jonas head of secretariat for all the proper filing and paperwork, Patricia for the food, else we would all starve d, Azzeem for all the fun games, Norman for kick-ass affirmation pouches, Agan for the rectangles (you now what I mean =p), day chairs, who made sure the event was smooth running, Jardian and AAron for security and logistics, and those involved in smaller but equally as important committees, and especially those who have graduated from School, but still come back to help out for more --> Gary G, Jason Chang, Van Michelle, Gerard Lee.
Also not forgetting, those from LSC ---> Miss Doong, Wai Tien, and Isaac =)
Lastly, would like to give a million thanks to Pn Stella for inviting me back to help out in this year's event ^^
Altogether, 47 participants participated in this year's regionals, ranging from Form 4 all the way to Upper 6 =)
Theme for this year's regionals??? "Take The Lead". We urge those who are timid, shy, and oblivious to their capabilities to stand up and take the lead in whatever they do, to strive for their aspirations, and also to keep the lasallian spirit burning brightly within themselves.
Pictures coming right up after I get free from the finals =)
