The Ramen Revolution is here! Craving for some ramen but not willing to do so cos it'll hurt your pockets? Well, I've found an alternative, and it's right here in ss2, Petaling Jaya :D

Cheap, delicious and filling, this is the place for you if you want to have a nice bowl of soupy ramen without burning a hole in your pockets :D

 The various condiments they have available at Ikuzo. Seriously speaking, this is the first time I've seen so many condiments in one place! Usually it's just the chili oil and sesame seeds xD

MLTR Live in Malaysia 2012 @ Setia City Mall

MLTR was my first love :)

Even before books, the very moment I discovered music, I was exposed to Michael Learns to Rock, and they became my world :) I knew how to sing their song even before I fully understood what the lyrics meant. I was 10 years old.

It's been 16 years since, and they're still one of my favourite bands :) I missed them when they came to Genting a few years ago, and I almost missed them again this time around. But thanks to my dear friend Amelia, I got the chance to catch them perform live at Setia City Mall in Shah Alam.

Chilla Cup @ Setia Walk, Puchong

Woohoo! Yet another coffee house is up and by the looks of it, is here to stay :D

Chillacup is a local coffee house located at Setia Walk which just recently underwent a rebranding exercise, shifting its focus on love. Love of food, Love of family, Love of coffee, etc.

Malones Irish Restaurant & Bar @ Jaya One

Malones Irish Restaurant & Bar recently launched its fifth outlet at Jaya One. Established since 2009, Malones offers a delightful menu filled with an array of authentic Irish specialties to their very own Chefs’ creation and the bar has a variety of creamy thirst quenching drafts to choose from. Malones is all about fun, letting loose, just being ‘you’; enjoying individuality with friends and family.

This outlet is strategic, and is located in the well-established commercial district of Section 14. This is one of the most happening part of Petaling Jaya, and will be the only outlet that features a wide selection of new pork dishes such as Traditional Crackling Pork Belly, Grilled Pork Liempo, BBQ Pork Ribs, Pork Knuckle, and lots more.

The biggest mistake one can make about any book is to assume that the movie is representative of what the source material is supposed to be all about. Those that have taken one look at the movie and assumed the worst of Alice Sebold’s prose should remember that the movie’s ambitions fall flat simply because of the high standards set by the author’s literary efforts.

 But we are getting ahead of ourselves. What exactly is the Lovely Bones all about?

Synopsis:
The Lovely Bones weaves a tale through the eyes of 14 year old Susie Salmon, a girl that has been raped and murdered. She observes her family and friends in the afterlife, watching as they all try to come to grips with the horror of her passing and move on with their lives. It is through them that Susie learns of life. Of growing up. Of pain, love, longing and loss. And when she is finally ready to let go, we are with her as she finally finds the courage to say goodbye.

Yamagoya Ramen @ Solaris Dutamas

Did you know, Ramen (although it wasn't called that, then) first appeared in Japan in 1910, when Chinese cooks at Tokyo's Rairaiken restaurant created a signature dish comprising broth and Chinese noodles, which were yellower and more elastic than Japanese noodles. Therefore, I guess it would be safe to say that Ramen is both Chinese and Japanese at the same time >.<

Yamagoya Ramen has over 140 franchised outlets in Japan.Yamagoya Ramen in Publika, Solaris Dutamas is the first original Kyushu ramen in Malaysia, and I had a privilege to try it and give my verdict :p However, please note that this is a strictly non-halal restaurant as their soup is pork based.

Petite Millie is a quaint restaurant located on the ground floor of One Utama Shopping Complex. Located near the old wing, it's elegant facade and charming atmosphere instantly brings everyone into the relaxing ambience :)

For those who know me, I love crabs :D so needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity to head over to www.FattyCrabs.com at Taman Seputeh for a round of very very VERY satisfying crab dishes :D Mind you, this FattyCrabs is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from the Restoran Fatty Crab in Taman Megah. Have yet to try the one in ss24, but when I do, will leave a separate blog post for that :P

Review: Lammeeya @ Damansara Uptown

How many of you know Lam Mee? I'm sure many of you have heard it, but not all have had a chance to try it, yes? Like all cuisines in Malaysia, Lam Mee also has a very rich history, and it dates all the way back to the 1950's, where the noodle "Loh Mee" was very popular among the Chinese in Northern Malaysia. It slowly expanded its reach and was gaining popularity in Ipoh and KL as well.

However, being Chinese of different backgrounds, their tastebuds are a little different, and chefs started to improve and modify the thick broth to make it lighter while keeping the taste distinctly original. To cater to this new variety, it was renamed "Lam Mee" based on the Cantonese dialect.  This new and improved Lam Mee has a smooth texture and became a favourite amongst Chinese in the Central and Southern part of Malaysia.

Needless to say, Lam Mee is Lammeeya's specialty and signature dish. The broth is smooth without being too salty, and the texture of the noodles and all its ingredients are just right, not too overwhelming :D

A random post about the bb, ten things I like about him

1. His dimple. This was what drawn me to him in the first place

2. The adorable habit of him shaking his legs. Whether he's sitting down, or standing up

3. When he calls me my nama manja :p Too many to list down here, and no, I will not tell you what they are >.<

4. When he layans my emo moments. And he doesn't complain about it either :D

5. The professional way he looks whenever he's taking pictures. He will just go to about any length just to get the right shot that he wants

6. His passion for photography. No one can get in his way when it comes to this

7. How he doesn't take nonsense from anyone (though this can be a bit annoying at times, cos he also doesn't really take nonsense from me -.-")

8. When he helps me crack by backbone, cos I can't do it all by myself. Ya, I'm a noob that way :p

9. How we love the same type of food. It's so easy to tapau stuff for him cos I can get what I want, and I know he will like it too :D

10. How he can read my mind at the weirdest times :p He's done it too many times to count >.<

Super GT's Wild Card Entry

Betty's Midwest Kitchen @ Aman Suria

Last month,  my god-siblings and I decided to have lunch together after not meeting up for a long while. We were at a loss as to where to go for a good meal when my saimui suggested a place she went to previously with a mutual friend. After little hesitation, we decided to head to Betty's Midwest Kitchen at Aman Suria, which was owned by the friend's sister's friend. lol :p

It wasn't very hard to find the place, but I recall it was a hassle to get to the front of the shop, seeing as how the roads only go one way and we had to make an illegal turn :p

Easy to spot signboard, hard to miss. Unless you're going the wrong direction :p spot anything cute in this pic? :p
