Sticky Sweets

Just a quick post from the weekend :D

Last Saturday, le bb and I celebrated our super belated 8th Monthniversary. We would have celebrated it earlier, but we were both just too busy, either with events, or work.

But last Saturday, we finally did, and we went to Kissaten for dinner :D Their pork burger was awesome! but that's for another blog post :p

After dinner, we got home and I left my bag on the floor and went to do some chores. I got back, and noticed a Sticky paper bag on the floor next to my bag, and I distinctly remember there was no paper bag there when I left my bag. So I asked him, and he just kept quiet. Assuming he didn't hear, I asked him again, but again, no response. :/

The third time, I mentioned it and went to the paper bag, inquisitive me started looking into it and was wondering which event he got the Sticky sweets from...then I took it out, and realised that he didn't get it from any event, especially since the messages on the sweets itself contains words like "I Love You", "I Miss You", "Kiss Me", and heart shapes.

And once again, I looked at him, and there he was with his goofy grin. How could you not love someone like that? <3

Coconut Shake @ Klebang Besar, Melaka

Last weekend, I was at Melaka for a LEAD Programme for one of our Lasallian Schools, St. Francis Institution. LEAD basically translates to Lasallian Expedition and Development Programme, which caters specifically to the lower class Form 2 students of the schools.

Trips like these to Melaka, while it serves as an avenue for us to give back to our society, it was also a time for us to enjoy the local delights they have in these quaint little cities. Previously, whenever I went to Melaka, I would love to make my way down to Jonker Street (specifically Jonker 88) for a bowl of their delightful cendol, with lots of Gula Melaka.

That was before I discovered the Original Coconut Shake in Klebang :D

Wagyu Beef @ The Restaurant, The Club Saujana Resort

Few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of experiencing the delicious taste of Wagyu Beef thanks to The Restaurant at the Club, Saujana Resort. I've always heard that Wagyu Beef is prime beef that melts in your mouth and tastes heavenly. Coming here, I was not disappointed :)

Located a little deeper than Saujana Resort, The Club caters mostly to business class parties and expats looking to unwind after a long week at work.

Upon entering The Restaurant, I was mesmerised with the elegant setting of the place. It would be a place I don't mind my bb bringing me for a romantic night out :) Every detail was meticulously arranged, with a bowl of tealight candle lighting up the place at each table.

Review: Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lip Tint

I have always been a person who loves to use lipstick, but didn't like the drying feeling and dark colours that are so often found in stores. So I resorted to using lip gloss and lip balms instead.

Last week, I was given the chance to review Rimmel's Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lip Tint, in the shade of Perpetual Plum

This is a non-transfer, kiss-proof formula that gives lips a flush of vibrant colour that stays on duty for up to 12 hours, leaving no trace.

Tong Pak Fu @ Mid Valley Mega Mall

I remember when I was a little girl, I would love it when my mom prepares the green bean tong sui complete with sago balls. I would consume bowl upon bowl of the tong sui for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When I moved to KL, one of the things I missed most about home is my mom's tong sui, and I would go in search of good tong sui shops around KL, but none seem to really satisfy me.

But, I found Tong Pak Fu, and their close resemblance to my mom's tong sui made me reminisce back to when I was younger. Tong Pak Fu is an award-winning and popular Hong Kong dessert house which has an amazing array of both hot and cols, traditional and progressive selection of desserts including a delectable range of shaved ice to cool one down, especially in the hot tropical heat of Malaysia.
