Food Review: GTower Ramadhan Buffet at Rajang Hall

The arrival of the holy month of Ramadan indicates the onset of the season of fasting, observance and generous festivities. After one whole day of fasting, there’s nothing better to treating yourself and your family to a sumptuous delicacies at the GTower.

One of my favourites everytime I have Malay food, the ever delicious ulam :)

Certainly in sync with the mood for the Ramadhan celebration, GTower's celebrity chef, Chef Johnny Fua and his team will be preparing tantalizing halal local delicacies for this Ramadhan period.

Partake of the culinary delights specially prepared for discerning palates at Rajang Hall, Lower Ground Floor of GTower.

The Ramadhan Buffet is generous in spread and variety. If you follow the sequence from appetizers ranging from Cold and Hot appetizers to begin with such as Kerabu Perut, Penang Pasembor, Kerabu Jantung Pisang and the “must-have” sambal belacan, otherwise known as "ulam"

Meanwhile, the soup counter offers array of homemade artisan breads & butter with Oxtail Soup and Bubur Lambuk. The breads are a must-have to open up your palate, and they are perfect for the occasion. Soft and easy to partake, slather on some butter and be ready to be transported to Bread Heaven :p But then again, I love breads, so it might be quite hard to resist.. hehe

After that, indulge yourself in a true culinary feast with few choices from the main counter such as Nasi Hujan Panas, Aloo Ghopi, Pau Goreng Berlada, Sambal Udang with Scallops, Dalca Kambing and many more.

To add an element of “ Malaysian-Style”, a few counters are open for diners to choose from the local delights section that would surely titillate your taste buds such as Mee Jawa, Satay and Roast Baked Snapper. Lamb lovers will definitely look forward to the main carving where Roast Lamb Shoulder will be served with Arabic Rice.

Finally, cleanse your palate by tasting their deliriously delectable array of desserts such as Cendol Banana & Orange Triffle, Pengat Labu and Sagu, Rojak Buah and Assorted Kuih and fruits.
