The theme "Reigning Supreme" brought out the attendees' idea of sophistication when everyone turned up in either black or gold as a gesture of respect or polite recognition (Salute).
Indeed, the Salute line has evolved from just designing evening slips in Japan. They have created a full range of intimate apparels beaming with captivating hues and dashing details. Today, as if a shimmering pearl afloat on the waves of luxurious lingerie, Salute by Wacoal is ever more radiant than it was shaped 30 years ago.
As its aspiration is to fulfill Asian women's desire for European flair lingerie, Salute is produced precisely to suit petite frames (I absolutely love the nightgowns!!!). Wacoal has an exclusive collaboration with avant-garde lacemakers and this has indeed lent a novel touch to the textile that has been held dear for centuries.
As you can see, the latest collection is ablaze with the beauty of laces, and vibrant hues of floral motifs that seemingly spring into life with charm and vitality. This attests to Wacoal's decades of experience in producing credible and well-loved intimate apparels.
But most definitely, words don't do it justice. You have to look at them on the models to really see the difference:
The floral motifs on the lingerie really brings out its flair for elegance and mystery. The model really knows how to flaunt it, and I must say, this is one of my favourite pieces in the show itself.
Garters are a piece of lingerie not many Malaysian women wear, yet it complements the look really well, especially if you're felling sexy and want to show some lace :p
Lace nightgowns are also a thing most Malaysian women seldom wear, but they are oh so sexy!!! :)
I love this piece from the fashion show, needless to say, I have lots of black articles of clothing at home and if I can get this one to complete my wardrobe, why not?
So there you have it, four of the more popular designs in the latest Wacoal SaluteCollection :)
Caroline, Carolyn, and Angeline, all awesome beauty bloggers in their own right :)
Kah Mon in the middle came a little late, but we took the opportunity to snap some pics as well!
