Review: Sasatinnie Instant Make Up Gel Remover

So, my make up remover was finishing so I decided to venture out and get myself another one to replace it. I wanted to use something different this time around, so I went to SaSa to see if there was anything that interested me. The saleslady introduced me to this brand, and told me it was a new product. Also, it's a gel cleanser, so it's definitely oil-free.

As this was something different, I decided to try it out. Furthermore, it was on sale, so thought no harm in buying it. I didn't want to get something oil-based as I heard that it would cause milia seeds, so I decided to get a non-oil based remover this time around.

Price: RM 30.90 (200ml), but got it on sale for RM19.90

Review: Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Gel Soapless Cleanser

Thanks to OnlyBeauty, a new online portal that delivers freebies to their members' doorsteps, I was given a sample of Eau Thermale Avene's Cleanance Gel Soapless Cleanser to try out.

50ml sample sent by OnlyBeauty *thanks OnlyBeauty!*

So what does it do?
According to Avene USA, this cleanser has a deep cleansing action that purifies without stripping the skin. Its PH 7.2 respects the skin’s natural balance, minimizing the trigger of excess sebum production. It is soap-free (DUH :p) and uses Avène Thermal Spring Water to soothe and soften skin. It is a hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic product.

Wonderbox March 2013 Edition

So I finally got my anticipated Wonderbox in the mail today. As usual I was at work so le bb signed for it on my behalf and I was pretty excited to see what I got this month.

This time, the box was wrapped in yellow ribbon, which I assume is to differentiate between which boxes have different items following the beauty profile that different subscribers have. Another blogger I know got a box wrapped in black ribbon with different contents from mine.

Guinness MarchMoreFun!!

It's MarchMoreFun again this entire month as Guinness celebrates their Largest Pub Crawl ever two weekends ago when they gathered their contest winners and members of the media to two full days of drink, fun and cheer!!!

There were more than 15,000 partygoers in the Klang Valley that reveled in St Patrick’s festivities hosted by the World’s favourite black brew GUINNESS®. True to the theme of ‘March More Fun’, the 3-day citywide celebration of all things green started on Friday, 15 March and during the three day celebration, thousands of Guinness fans came together to raise a pint in more than 60 outlets across the city centre.

Needless to say, yours truly was one of them *wink*

My Birthday 2013

So, something a little more personal from me today :D

It's a little late, but last month was the month I turned a little older. Nearing 30, but lucky enough, if you round up my age, I can still be considered 25? hahaha

Well, a little older, but not necessarily wiser :p More responsibilities with each year, and more headaches with the coming months. Not that all's bad, cos some are better than most, but bearable :)

Over the past years, I've had the chance to meet many beautiful people, not only in appearance, but also from within. So, for the past 20-odd years of my existence, I would like to extend a thank you to everyone who has touched my life, and made my memories that much sweeter, with colourful paints on my white canvas of life.

Oh, I digress...this post was actually to tell you about the little pre-birthday celebration that I had with le bb before we both went back to our respective hometowns for Chinese New Year. Since we would both not be together for my birthday, we decided to have it a little early, and he brought me to a place we've both never tried before but heard lots about.

Project Ten (10)

Here is part of the news extracted from the Borneo Post Online today (The leading English Paper in East Malaysia)
*source*

Blind house owner Oyo Emang Ngau, 68, his wife Lintu, 41, and their 14 year old daughter escaped a fire which broke out in the kitchen of their house at Jalan Stapok Utama in Batu Kawah at midnight yesterday.

Oyo heard something explode in the kitchen and realised that a fire had broken out. The couple were led to safety by their daughter, and managed to secure some important documents and some belongings.

The couple has been staying in the house for the past eight years, and are employed at Sarawak Society for the Blind centre at Jalan Ong Tiang Swee.

Oyo said the family will be putting up with a neighbour for the time being while he figure out how to find the money to repair the damaged portion of his house.

THAT WAS WHEN PROJECT TEN WAS BORN.

MrLens Affiliate Program

Any of you guys out there who prefers to wear contacts instead of glasses?

For me, since I started wearing contacts, I seldom wear glasses when I need to go meet clients or events as I feel that glasses cover up my eyes, which are an important asset to any girl. But contact lenses are expensive, especially coloured contacts..so I usually just buy the normal ones.

THEN I met MrLens :D

MrLens is online shop specialising in providing you with beautiful lenses that you can purchase online!

Review: Sleek I Divine Original Eyeshadow

So truth be told, I have never heard of the Sleek brand before, until Joanna introduced me to it :p Looking at the price and the colours, I decided to take the plunge and got the Sleek I-Divine Eyeshadow in Original :) This palette costs RM42.50 for twelve super pigmented colours. The original price is RM50, but cos it was our first time buying from Luxola with Joanna's account, we got a 15% discount plus free shipping!

So this is how the palette looks like,  it's not very small, and not very big either, but I think it's pretty worth it, cos other brands out there will give you three or four colours for about the same price, but with this one you get 12 colours!

Wonderbox February 2013 Edition

I'm sure many of you have seen and/ or heard about the Beauty Boxes phenomena :p I for one, have seen too many :p so I decided to try out for myself, if I would be pleasantly surprised :p

So out of the many choices available out there, I finally made my decision and went with Wonderbox :) *yay* Mostly because I've been monitoring the products that they give out for the previous boxes, and I really liked them :p so I took the plunge, and got it. For me it was pretty affordable, at only RM39.90 :p not too expensive, and not too cheap either, so that you know the products that you get will be of some quality.

So I wasn't home when this arrived :p le bb even took a pic of it for me to squeal at silently at the office :p
