Review: Mivva Box July Edition, My Pamper Kit

Thanks to Mivva, I got my July edition box earlier in the month, but now only managed to carve out a little bit of time to blog about it :p If you've read my blog previously about previous Mivva boxes, you'll know that I will absolutely recommend this box to anyone who is looking to purchase a beauty box. And after receiving the July edition box, I further reinforce my claim that if you are a first time beauty box purchaser, GET THE MIVVA BOX. I promise you, you won't regret it :)

So here's a preview of the third gen Mivva box, a vast improvement from the second batch of boxes, which were a little flimsy. What I like about this design is also that it's elegant and chic, with a black box, hot stamped with silver dots. Me likey :)

The Butterfly Project Spa Party Awesomeness

The Spa party has come and gone, and it was a whole dose of awesome!!! I know, it's awfully late to be posting this up, especially since the event has come and gone in June, and I'm awfully sorry about that >.< Too many pending posts, and work has made it incredibly difficult to blog! But here it is, and I present to you, the Butterfly Project's Spa Party post mortem!

 

Before I start off, let me first introduce you to this awesome community that I'm a part of, the Butterfly Project. The Butterfly Project is a special online community of beauty & lifestyle bloggers initiated by blogger extraordinaire and Social Media Entrepreneur; Ms. Tammy Lim. For this particular project, 50 beauty bloggers from around the Klang Valley area were treated to the spa of their lives when they attended a spa party specially organised for them!! I have to say, this spa party has definitely made my dream come true :)

I am now PortaWifi enabled thanks to Celcom!

If you saw my previous post, you would have seen me blog about the extraordinary phenomena of some people distributing flyers to patrons of the Batu Tiga Toll plaza, which happens to be flyers to redeem free PortaWifi devices, courtesy of Celcom :)

ESSE Gives Back: Appreciate Art, Buy Art, Give Back to Children

Initially my next post was supposed to be about the Spa Party that I went to last month, where I had so much fun as one of  PinkNProper's Next Top Model finalist, and got the chance to pamper myself and relax to my heart's content.

But last Friday, I attended a charity dinner organised by ESSE, the Organic Skincare Expert at Absolute Thai One Utama, and I got blown away by their stories and experiences, so I decided to blog about this first, because it is something really worth sharing with all of you guys, my beloved readers.

If you've seen my cover photo on FB, you would have noticed this lovely image. ESSE Gives Back is a one day "Nature" themed charity art sale event. The event encourages children all over the world to participate by creating an artwork about nature. These amazing young artists, ages from 3 to 16 years old, painted their love for nature into these artworks. The artworks are submitted from as far away as USA and South Africa, to Hong Kong, China, Australia, Singapore and also from Malaysia.

Event: ChatON Launch at The Butter Factory

Hey guys!

If you're my friend on FB, you would have seen me post pictures of this wonderful app called ChatON, the latest mobile messaging app that can do anything from Group Chat, to Walkie Talkies, Buddy Interaction and much much more. You might think that this is just a normal app pretty much like Whatsapp, but you're not quite right :p You see, ChatON has this super amazing feature that I love, and that's the Anicons!!!! kinda reminds me of MSN, cos they have the cute bunny :p

Two weeks ago, thanks to Samsung Mobile Malaysia and Manoah, I got invited to the official launch of the ChatON app at the Butter Factory. The theme of the night was Orange, befitting the official colour of the app, and everyone came in their fine orange livery. However, I came in purple (T.T) cos I came from work and I was wearing a purple baju to work -.-" Wished I came in orange though, cos there were prizes for the best dressed male and female. The winners got to walk away with a Samsung S3 Mini each!

Movie Review: Pacific Rim in 3D (2013)

Pacific Rim, the highly anticipated action movie is finally here! Thanks to Nuffnang, I got the chance to catch it before it's out on July 10th, and if I had one thing to say about it, is that you should watch it in 3D if you can (but otherwise, 2D is good too)

Imedeen, Beauty from Within

In my younger days, I would always wonder, why is it that my mom would look so young despite already having three kids who were a handful? I didn't realise then that it was because of the  IMEDEEN® tablets that she was taking that was making her look so youthful.

Now as I'm older, I look back and think that I should start young too, and what better way than to start off with what my mom has been taking for the past few decades, right?

These arrived in the mail a few days ago, and could only post this now cos I have been busy studying for my exam (which is over, btw woohoo!!!).

Review: Facework Esthetic at Sunway Mentari

Last week, I was priviledged enough to attend an event hosted by Wacoal Malaysia in conjunction with the celebration of Salute's 30th anniversary. The event showcased the latest collection of this supreme lingerie line at an exclusive party held at Parkson Pavilion, KL.

The theme "Reigning Supreme" brought out the attendees' idea of sophistication when everyone turned up in either black or gold as a gesture of respect or polite recognition (Salute).
