During the merdeka weekend, there was an endless slew of parties, and this is one of them that took my breath away :) This time round in conjunction with Malaysia’s Independence Day and Malaysia Day, ABSOLUT HIBISKUS, the first-ever floral-flavoured vodka is introduced by Pernod Ricard Malaysia. Malaysians can look forward to artist collaborations and parties nationwide to sample this latest addition to the ABSOLUT flavours family.

Hi Dearies, it's been a while since I reviewed a mask, so here I am, reviewing a mask for your benefit! :) The mask that I will be reviewing today will be the Timeless Truth Deep Sea Moisturising Mask, which is part of the Moisturising Functional Masks.

Movie Review: Prisoners (2013)

Another Hugh Jackman movie is out in cinemas, and this time he's not in his usual role, instead he is playing a father whose daughter has been kidnapped.

Movie Review: About Time (2013)

People always say, eyes are the windows to the soul. Well what better way to frame your soul than to frame them up in a glam way,  thus enhancing the look of your peepers, making them bigger and more beautiful? I myself am no exception :) When I go out for events and to party, I would usually use false lashes to create a more dramatic look, and to wow the people I'm with. But wearing false lashes have their downfall too, if you apply them the wrong way, they look droopy, or if you don't coat your real lashes with mascara properly to combine with the fake lashes, you end up with two layers of distinct lashes that look weird. So I find them a chore since I always have to take them off and reapply them again.

Thanks to Nuffnang, I got the chance to catch the premiere screening of Paranoia, a film starring hunky Liam Hemsworth, Lukas Till, and the enigmatic Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman :)

It's the third day of the week, and it's slowly coming to an end. Thursday is coming, but you don't have to wait long before the long weekend arrives! It was a super hectic weekend last week with three days of party in a row!!! There was We Love Asia on Friday and Saturday, and MTV World Stage on Sunday! All these party events are in the evening, so I would bet most of you slept in on Saturday and Sunday during the day so you can party all night! :p

On the contrary, I guess most of you would be surprised to hear that I did not attend each one of these events >.< I was down with a bit of flu and cough, so I thought it best not to head out to party too hard :p

But even though I was sick, I was determined to head over to Mandom's office for the exclusive BCL Kawaii  Make Up Workshop organised for us by the wonderful folks at Mandom and Manoah! They had specially flew in a Make Up Artist from Japan, who has had over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry making up celebrities and giving out workshops!

Review: Polka Dot by Splassh

How has your workweek been so far? Any plans for the weekend? :) For me it's hectic as ever, attending events and We Love Asia is tonight! How stoked are you guys about that???

So in preparation for We Love Asia, apart from getting your make up done and selecting the right party outfit, why not paint your nails for the occasion? Today I'm going to review Polka Dot by Splassh, a new nail polish range that's available at all SaSa outlets :)

Polka Dot by Splassh is a new nail polish range that's available in SaSa (RM7.90) and Parkson (RM8.90) outlets, and surprisingly, I couldn't find much information online about this particular nail polish. As is with all nail polishes, this is made in China, and comes in 60 colours. The one I got is number 40, and as you can see from the bottle is metallic blue in colour. It's quite a bright blue, but there are little flecks of metallic reflected in there to make it a metallic sheen.

Mary Quant, the Freedom to be Yourself

Hey dearies how have you guys been doing?

Last weekend was a horrifying one for half the Klang Valley residents as there was a Diesel spill on Friday, causing a massive water blackout for most areas of the Klang Valley. My sister's place had no water for four days, but I was lucky enough to have my water supply restored after only a day.

That Saturday, before I went off to buy my HORDES of mineral water from Jusco, I headed over to Muse by Watsons in Sunway Pyramid to attend a beauty workshop by Mary Quant thanks to Manoah :)

For those that didn't know (me included), Mary Quant was a fashion creator famous for creating the miniskirt. She was a fashion guru amongst her peers, and decided to go into cosmetics because she recognises cosmetics as fashion as well. She started her clothing career in 1955, and proceeded to launch Mary Quant cosmetics in 1966.
