Boyce Avenue Rocking it up at KL Live

Holla guys!!!! If you are an avid follower of my blog, you would have known that I posted about Boyce Avenue last month :) If not, here's the link for you to read! *click*

So anyways, what did I do and who did I see? Of course I went to KL Live to witness Boyce Avenue live!!!!! Pictures after the jump!

Tickets to Boyce Avenue!!!!!! so awesome, so excited!!!!!

Yes, there was a goat there :p it's Hitz.fm's goat, and by virtue of the fact that we were nearing the goat year for CNY, they felt it fit to bring along this cuddly dude to the show that they were promoting.

Went to see Boyce with my baby sister, cos she was also a fan too :D

The parking that night was horrendous, because it started raining just before the doors opened, and it was a heavy heavy downpour. And because of KL Live being what it is, there are very limited parking spaces (only two floors), most people either opted to park by the roadside, or adjoining buildings. My sis had to park at the MBf building right beside KL Live.

The opening acts were Narmi and they actually featured one or two songs sang by Elizabeth Tan, our own celebrity. Her voice actually reminds me of Macy Gray. I think she was trying to emulate Norah Jones, but it felt more whispery and somehow made me think of Macy Gray instead :/

Sorry the pic of her is so small....I was standing near the end of the hall, and my camera can't zoom in enough to catch a clearer picture of her.

And here's Narmi. His songs were actually not bad :) He wrote a few of the songs that he sang, but what I loved about his performance was his last song where he made a medley of all the awesome songs that we were all so fond of.

Then came Boyce!!!!!

Playing the cajon. For those who are not familiar with this instrument, it's pronounced 'ka-hon' and is a box-like instrument with a hole in the middle of one of the sides. It is a percussion instrument, and is played by slapping the side of the corner or the middle of the box to create different types of sounds.

All in all, it was a very eye-opening concert for me, because this is the first time I actually went to a Youtuber's concert, and I was blown away. I was so glad I managed to catch them, and I am sure to be going again!

Will I be seeing you at the next one?

Til the next time, stay beautiful!

xoxo,
yin
