The highly anticipated sequel to the previous two installments, the story takes off where the battle of New York finishes in The Avengers
Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3″ pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
Verdict: 7/10 :) It's good, but I feel that some parts can be better. I like the storyline, and how there were some turns in the story. Some die-hard Ironman Comic fans might not like the role of Mandarin because it didn't reflect the true story of Mandarin, and also because the climax wasn't really considered a climax :p Effects were good, but the ending was pretty predictable :p
One thing that I personally liked, was how they humanised Tony Stark. They managed to portray that after all that, take away the Iron suit, and he is just an ordinary man, trying to come to terms with life-altering trauma. I liked how he went back to basics and worked from an ordinary workshop, and connected with a small child. I liked how after everything, he still remembers the little kid. In terms of acting, Robert Downey Jr. still gets full points for his flamboyance :D I loved him in Ally McBeal, I loved him in Sherlock Holmes, and I loved him in Ironman :D
If you are considering of watching it in 3D, I would not really recommend it, because personally for me I don't feel much of a 3D'ish effect coming out on screen. I would recommend 2D though :)
So, that's what I thought about Ironman :) What did you think? Leave your comments below!
