Super GT Tickets and Lucky Draws

Hi all! Did you know that when SUPER GT was born in 1993, it was called the Japan Touring Car Championship, and was renamed Japan GT shortly after. When Japan GT started expanding to foreign lands, it was renamed again to SUPER GT to reflect its international ambitions.

This race is utterly unique because it has two racing classes: GT500 and GT300. The GT500 is raced by leading Japanese automobile manufacturers such as Honda, Nissan and Lexus, while the GT300 is raced by leading aftermarket auto-accessories makers, who used machines like the Ferrari 458, Lamborghini LP570, Aston Martin V12 Vantage, Audi R8 GT3, Chevrolet Corvette, and even mean green machines like the Toyota Prius and Honda CRZ, making it the most diverse race!

My Name Card :)

Previously when I go on events or reviews, I always feel shy to give away my name card which is related to my work, so I spoke to bb and he told me he will help me create and print a name card specially for me to give away during the times I go for events as a blogger.

He started off by asking me what I wanted in my name card. I told him to surprise me, considering he should know me well enough by now to know what I like :p so he took one day to design the entire thing, and proudly announced to everyone on twitter that my name card was ready.

I liked my name card instantly as he had captured what I wanted, and made it simple, just to my liking. It was shipped off to the printer the next day, with no changes made at all :D

Super GT Round 3 2012

I've always wondered what all the hype was about for Super GT, and I told myself that this year, I will go for it, and see for myself what all this hoo-ha is all about. I am sitting in my seat, counting down the number of days until the exciting race comes to town!

 Did some reading up about Super GT, and Super GT 2012 Round 3 Malaysia is the one and only round out of the eight round of the Super GT to be held outside of Japan. This means, that come 9th and 10th June 2012, there will be two super exciting days of real motorsports fun and more! And this fun can only be found here in Malaysia, apart from Japan :p

How exciting is that?!?!

If last year motorsports enthusiasts had a rolling good time, this year, Super GT Round 3 promises even more great stuff. Motorsports enthusiast can feast their eyes on the GT300 and GT500 cars at their finest accompanied by the gorgeous race queens.

Kris Allen - The Vision of Love

Kris Allen of American Idol fame has a new single!

Don't know who Kris Allen is? Well, you might remember him from the song "Live Like We're Dying", the catchy tune blasting through the Malaysian airwaves few years ago :D

One song I particularly liked from him was "The Truth", which I felt was a powerful piece :p Not many would agree with me though. Some of my friends even said he had a whiny voice.

BUT, I still loved him, and now he's out with a new song! It's called "The Vision of Love" and I first heard it on Fly.fm on my way to work this morning. Loved it the moment I heard the song, even though I didn't know who it was in the beginning.

Honda Hybrid Vehicles Test Drive

Thanks to Ryan, I got the chance to test drive the Honda range of Hybrid cars, mostly the Jazz, Insight, and CR-Z and his showroom and office, Imavest Sdn Bhd.

Disclaimer: I'm not so much of a well versed car fella, so Imma gonna give a layman review of these cars yeah :p

For the past week leading up to the day itself, many of my friends asked if I were going for the rally. I have always answered noncommittally, shrugging my shoulders, and not giving any answer at all. But two nights before the rally, I made up my mind. I was whatsapping with bb, and he asked if I was going. I told him that I wasn’t sure if I should go, considering what happened last year, and if I would be able to take it. But I wanted to go, because I wanted to stand for what I believed in.
