Philips Innovation That Matters to You

Hey guys, have you ever wondered what we can do to make our society a better one? We always see news about increasing crime rates, increased health problems, and more often than not, we stand idly by, criticising the powers that be for not doing their part in making the country a better place.

What we fail to realise is that, while we can complain and complain, we can do our part too! Thanks to Philips, we can submit our idea for a healthier home and safer city!

So how does it work?

Great things can happen when people and sheer imagination come together to produce solutions for modern living. Your innovative ideas can help Malaysians everywhere live in safer cities and healthier homes! Learn how you can make a difference. What are your ideas for building safer cities and healthier homes? Read more here *click*

Your ideas however, have to be:
  • Realistic - it must be practical to implement.
  • Sustainable - it should demonstrate long term viability.
  • Benefit many, not a few - the more people it benefits the better your chance of having your idea implemented.
Just go here *click* and get started! You will be brought to a page where you can contribute your ideas, and just select either Safer Cities, or Healthier Homes. After you have written your idea, fill in your details, and submit!

What a wonderful idea, indeed. For the company to give the consumers chance to do this, I think that's truly exceptional. I'm all for good change, so I certainly don't mind.

Good luck to you and everyone!

You are so right that it's not just up to us to point out problems with the places we live but to be proactive and try to do something to make them better, as well. Great sentiment!

I've studied this kind of social participating programs while I was attending University. I think this is such sand interesting concept to let people understand better what they want and to think they could really do something for the place where they live.
Great post.
