Happy Birthday Judith and Edith!!

18 December 2006, the day LAN subjects start…I am in lecture A, Tute E…separate from my friends…*sob*

Taking two subjects, which are Malaysian Studies, and Moral Studies. I guess Malaysian studies is like PA, but only in English, and moral studies is more on ethics and moral issues. Since Malaysian Studies is like PA right, then why are we still forced to take it? Isn’t it just redundant? We have already studied it before, why should we study it again? Sometimes I just can’t ever understand the way our government works…

Had our first lesson at night…cis…such a conducive environment hor…so sleepy... *yawn*

-_-“

But despite my reservations, it was quite funny actually…cos there was this group of guys in my class who likes to make jokes. However, it can get quite irritating after a while…erm…Kyra’s in my class, Yin Chiak as well, Edith Chan, TD’s team, Ann Chen, and even Adengs’ neighbour, Joel is in my class! Well, those are the ones I remember lar…

Anyways, 17 December is Judith and Edith’s birthday!!! So…..

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY TO EDITH AND JUDITH!!!!!!!!!

Went to Friendship park with Lyne, Adengs, and Jud, and Edith to celebrate their birthday with dim sum, mushroom chicken noodles, laksa, and cold soya bean drink. Surprisingly, the laksa there wasn’t as tasteless as I feared it would be…although it can’t beat the Choon Hui and Chong Choon laksa, it wasn’t that bad to the palate..

After brunch, we walked around the park, and took pictures..with some guys there laughing at us, as though they haven't seen anyone take pictures before…for some unknown reason, Adengs die die also dowan to be in the picture …*ponder* but after looking at the pics, I also wish I wasn’t in it…

I look so fat

@_@

BUT, my vainness overtook me, and I decided it wasn’t so bad after all..hehe…but my aim now is to slim down adequately by Chinese New Year…and with Maya by my side, there is no reason for me to lose sight of my goal!! Yeah!! Hehe..

No pics now, but will post some up when I get them from Adengs!!

Cheerio!

Julian leaving..

Julian Tang Chung Hua has left Kuching, to migrate to Melbourne, Australia this morning at 11 am. Couldn't send him off, cos today was my grandma's bday as well, so was kinda busy... *sob* another moo moo member has left. We are one more member short...cis..but to look at it from a positive way, we are all spreading our wings, and have taken flight, whether it's for studies, or migration, we are all growing up. yea? hehe...

Anyways, last Wednesday, our moo moo gang had one gathering in honour of Julian, since he's going away and all, and we won;t be seeing him for a while...who went? me, Ron, Cal, Bren Chin, Gerard, and the man of the hour, Julian Tang. LKC came for a while, but he had to go home early..later in the evening, Feli and Naomi came..

Nothing much to talk about, just that as usual, we were our crazy selves, and couldn't resist taking crazy shots. However, some of the shots were corrupted, so couldn't upload some of it..

When Lil, Ron and I went Xmas shopping, we also took the time to get a pressie for Julian..we decided to get him a moo moo, cos every moo moo member must have at least one moo moo =) After much pondering and browsin, we finally decided to get him this!

then we went wrapping paper shopping, and got him the oink oink wrapping paper..hehe...so since Ron is the most creative out of the three of us, we decided to let him bring back the gift, and wrap it..that night, he mms-ed me his finished product, and i wanted it for myself!! hehe

*paiseh*

anyways, that Wed night, originally wanted to go Bing!, but too full, and we forgot to make a booking *takes menu and hits head* so we went to Tao instead. LKC ordered a Berry Frenzy, which is a yogurt smoothie, very nice *slurps* I got chocolate mint, which Feli mistook for her Chocolate Heaven, and drank one quarter of it. By the time the mistake was identified, she apologized, and proceeded to give me one third of her whipped cream. I am so going to have to exercise for two full days just to burn off the additional fat *longpiak*

In the midst of all our giggling and craziness, a few girls walked in, and they looked really familiar...after a few minutes of mulling over who they are, I finally realized who they were...my seniors from St Teresa!! hehe..there's Hui Chien, Mildred Voon, and Susanna Tan. Sue was my RC senior (treasurer, I think), Mildred was the drummajorette (is it spelled that way?), and Hui Chien was the super smart girl from Sc 1...currently, Sue is finishing up in her Engineering course (forgot to ask which eng major, and uni -_-"), Hui Chien is now a working engineer in Australia (Sydney), and I didn't get to ask Mildred what she was doing..hehe.. *paiseh*

Besides that, I also met up with Madeleine Law from Green Road..how fast time flies..I thought she just finished her SPM, but actually, she's been in Perth for a year now...wow!! unbelievable..This is what happens when you lost track of time the moment you finish high school. You feel as if you're the only one going through life right now, but actually life goes on for everyone. heh.. @_@

Chistmas shopping

I have never really understood the term retail therapy until today, when I went out with my two bestest buds, Lil and Ron to shop for Christmas presents.. I had been feeling under the weather recently, and not because I was sick, but because of some personal issues..so when Ron messaged me the other day asking if I wanted to go Christmas shopping, I thought, why not? There’s nothing to lose..too bad didn't bring my cam phone, so had to plagiarize some photos from Lil..hehe..*sorry*

So I started the day with Maya, my personal trainer from Yourself! Fitness, cos I read somewhere that exercising in the morning can help you lose more weight than exercising any other time of the day. Yeap, I am really serious about losing weight..Then, Ron picked me and Lil up, and off we go on our excursion!!

First stop, Kenyalang Park! Went there to browse for xmas cards, but in the end bought two stickers instead..one of which will make an appearance on my general diary next year, and another one which I will keep, cos it has dolphins! And I absolutely adore dolphins..

Next stop, Hock Lee Centre. There, I bought quite a few xmas cards, cos I have a list as long as Santa’s!! hehe.. =p

Then, Ron’s tummy rumbled, so we decided to take a breather for lunch. Made our way over to Sin Chew CafĂ©, where the Bak Kut Teh there is simply delectable. But, our main aim for food was the Western and Asian food stall, and that is where we decided to stop and fill our bellies.

That's Ron, after filling his bottomless pit, and me, looking dumb..

Then, our third and final stop for the day, Sarawak Plaza, where we did most of our xmas shopping.. particularly the Memory Lane shop, where we spent most of our time in..hehe..

As usual, since it’s xmas soon and all, the decorations are up, and about.

Recently in my life..

I'll just go over the most important highlights of my life...

Finals on 27 Nov to 30 Nov..first day was Marketing, and wasn't as hard as I expected it would be.. Accounting was quite hard, and QA was ok. then, one day before my microecons finals, some idiot took my micro book...wth?!?!?!!!

cis, i was SO pissed off. who would take a book exactly one day before finals? after much thought, i concluded that whoever that sick bastard was, he/she wanted to sabotage me, so I wouldn't be able to study for my finals.

book stolen -> no book -> cannot study -> cannot do test -> fail -> retake sem -> more money

and I do not have more money. So, thanks so much to ron (who has two books, btw), he lent me one of his micro books, and I could study for it, and thankfully, I can do some of the questions. not all, but at least some, and I hope and hope that I can at least pass this subject, cos I sure as hell wouldn't like to repeat this subject again.

After finals, nothing much out of the ordinary happened, except for last night..something really personal happened, and all I can say is a very big THANK YOU to Ron for being there for me in the wee hours of the morning =)

Lastly, I would like to end my post, with a very big thank you to all my friends who have been there for me throughout the years, when I needed you most. Thank you to Lilian, Arlyne, Sam I Am, Pris, Jo-jee, Ah Ge, Andrea, Amalina, Angel, Anna Bella, Joyce Tagal, Van Ting, Dino, Nai Lin, Vic, Amy, Chen, Ron, Wen Chung, Bern, Wei Khee, Hazwan, Varun, Julian, Brendan Lo and Chin, Jason Chang, Sean Tan, Gerard Lee..etc..

There are so many other people in my life, and if I didn't list you down here, don't be disheartened, I haven't forgotten you...a list is just a list..it's what's inside my heart that counts, and you know that I count you as my friend =) *hugs*

THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING THERE FOR ME!!!

When...

When is it time to let go?
when you feel that there's no more future in whatever you're pursuing? or when the feeling of contentment, of satisfaction of obtaining a ceratin something wears off?

When do you finally realize that what you've worked so hard to fight for actually means nothing to the person you're fighting for?

When do you start being selfish?
When there's a conflict of emotions? Or when you realise that being selfless actually doesn't bring any self fulfilment?

When is self gratification necessary?

Jason sent me this on friendster...

Sweet words are easy to say,
Sweet things are easy 2 buy,
But sweet people are difficult to find.
Life ends when U stop dreaming,
Hope ends when U stop believing,
Love ends when U stop caring,
Friendship ends when U stop sharing.
So share this with whom ever U consider a friend.
To love without condition,
To talk without intention,
To give without reason,
And to care without expectation
is the heart of a true friend...

Thanks Jason, I really needed that.
