Review: Jelly Pong Pong Skin Mineral Foundation SPF 15

Hey dearies :)

How was your weekend? Hope it was good enough to chase away your Monday blues and make it brighter :) If not, here's one good news for you. It's only four more days to the next weekend! :D and this coming weekend promises to be exciting cos there are so many things lined up for Saturday :)

But before that, we still need to get through three more days before we say hi to Saturday, and for some of you guys, that means three more days of work. So, we still have to paint our face and head in to work while dreaming of the weekend. For me, when I paint my face, there is something I always use, and that is Jelly Pong Pong's Skin Mineral Foundation with SPF 15 :)

This foundation is a powder type foundation and is talc-free. I got this from HiShop a few months ago, and I have been using it since then! It's really lightweight and I love how it feels on my skin. Bless HiShop for bringing in the Jelly Pong Pong product range, cos the other product that I tried, the Jelly Pong Pong Lip Frosting in Irish Cream Pavlova (link here)

As you can see, the product is not very big, it fits right in the palm of my hand. If you had to compare the size, I would say it's about the size of Tiger Balm jar. I love the size because it can fit in my handbag, and I can use it to touch up my make up when necessary (which is not very often).

If you didn't know, Jelly Pong Pong is committed to the green, and is lead free :) Their products are not tested on animals, does not contain petrochemicals, and is Phtalates free.

Ingredient list for your perusal :)

This is the shade that I got, which is Medium. I love the shade as it is quite close to my skin tone. It is neither light nor dark, and suits my skin tone perfectly.

For this product, I apply it on my face as a loose powder after I put on my CC cream,  and it gives my face a flawless finish. It is matte and doesn't cake at all. This picture is taken with direct exposure to sunlight in my room. You might notice that my face is quite fair, but don't let it fool you :p It actually looks a little darker in real life, it just looks fair cos my room is dark >.<

Taken out in my car on the way to meet my friends. See how natural it looks? I actually quite love it as it has a lightweight feel and doesn't cake, even when I perspire. It covers my pores well, and my dark spots are less visible. I would say the only downside is that it is only SPF15, unlike other powders which is SPF20 or 30.

Rating: 3.5/5

Repurchase: Yes

Pro: Small and compact packaging, making it easier to bring around. Lightweight feel, doesn't cake, no need to retouch-up my make up, and pores are covered.

Cons: SPF is a bit of a downer, with only SPF15.

The Jelly Pong Pong Skin Mineral Foundation is available for purchase at HiShop. My for RM79 a jar, simply click the link to get there! *click*

Til the next time, stay beautiful!

xoxo,
yin

i got the same shade too, this minus point for me is it is mirrorless that you need to bring your extra mirror for touch up

suitable all skin types?

They come in three shades, Fair, Medium and Dark. I got the Medium one because I have a slight tan skin tone. For me it's quite suitable ;)

that's true, but I always carry a mirror anyway, so it's ok for me :p hehe
